Meet the Photographer
Hey, My name is Sydney Price.
Photographer, storyteller, chronic observer, and the person behind the camera at 555 Studio.
I’ve always been fascinated by the way photographs can turn ordinary moments into something worth remembering. The glance you didn’t realize you gave each other. The wind ruining the hair we just fixed. Your best friend losing it on the dance floor. The quiet five minutes before everything begins. Those are usually my favorite photographs.
My approach blends documentary storytelling with cinematic, editorial imagery. I love creating photographs that feel intentional and beautiful, but I never want your gallery to feel like you spent the entire day posing for me. I'll give you direction when you need it, fix the little things you shouldn't have to think about, and then step back when the moment is better left alone.
Every person, couple, and celebration has its own personality. Your photographs should, too.
Instead of approaching every session with the same poses and Pinterest checklist, I take time to understand what feels like *you*. Maybe that's getting dressed up and wandering downtown after dark. Maybe it's drinking margaritas at your favorite restaurant. Maybe it's an intimate ceremony surrounded by twenty people you love.
Sometimes it's messy. Sometimes it's quiet. Sometimes it's a little weird.
That's what makes it yours.
I’m especially inspired by people, music, film, travel, nightlife, and all the little details that make a place or moment feel alive. Those influences find their way into my work through color, movement, composition, and storytelling.
The 555 experience.
My job isn't just to show up with a camera. From planning locations and building inspiration to helping with timelines and guiding you in front of the lens, I'm here to make the process feel comfortable from beginning to end.
We'll create the photographs you want to hang on your walls, but I'll also be watching for the ones you never knew to ask for.
Because years from now, I don't just want you to remember what everything looked like.
I want you to remember how it felt.
